Following on from the release of the 30th anniversary Rough Rider, Tamiya is now proud to announce the imminent re-release their classic Sand Scorcher.

This 2010 version Sand Scorcher has been carefully updated while maintaining the original features of the chassis such as the unique front double trailing arms and rear torsion suspension. R/C fans hearts will definitely race when they see the classic VW Beetle shape and relive the dynamic performance of this machine.

Chunky lug pattern tires are mated to simple but reliable chassis components, taking form as the"Mad Bull" off-road racing buggy. Long throw coil spring shock units are factory assembled and 115mm diameter tires are factory fitted to the wheels.

The DF-02 chassis features longitudinally mounted motor and battery, and powerful Type 540 motor combined with 4 oil dampers. Get Your 2WD Buggy Fix!
This latest release on our DT-02 chassis features a number of upgrades that fans will go buggy for! The lightweight polycarbonate body and wing feature a sleek design making it one of Tamiya's coolest looking buggies. Oil dampers, adjustable upper arm and full ball bearings mean that the Desert Gator can handle almost anything the track can throw at it, while the grooved front and spiked rear tires give you the grip and handling to make the competition eat your dust!

This 1/10 scale 4WD buggy is specially designed to excel in off-road buggy racing. It features a mid-rear mounted motor and longitundinally mounted battery for optimum balance for jumping. Battery is inserted through the bottom of the chassis, eliminating need to remove body, which makes routine maintenance easy and quick. High performance shaft drive 4WD combines with suspension system featuring extra long suspension arms for improved stability and off-road handling.

【 GOT ROCK? 】　The Toyota Land Cruiser 40 was produced from 1960 to 1984 and is one of the most well-known 4x4 vehicles in the world. Tamiya has reproduced this classic off-roader as an assembly kit R/C model on the newly developed CR-01 rock crawling chassis. This chassis features a tough ladder frame with aluminum side channels and resin crossmembers, 4-link suspension with aluminum rods, a 4WD system with lockable differentials, massive off-road tires with sidewall tread pattern, and dependable beadlock wheels. The body is of course accurately reproduced in durable polycarbonate material, giving fans a superbly capable rock crawler with scale realism.
