All Heljan locomotives are supplied with buffer beam pipework and in many cases screw couplings. Most models are also supplied with a parts bag comprising additional 'add-on' parts relative to the particular model. All are equipped with a 8-pin DCC socket unless stated otherwise.

	'DP2' is the latest in the Heljan prototype diesel range, following on from the previous releases of 'FALCON', 'KESTREL' and 'LION'. This version, catalogue number 4010, depicts the model in the livery it carried 'as-built' which is plain BR green with small yellow warning panels. This is a limited production run of 2000 models. A 21-pin decoder socket is fitted to this model.
